Dear Conant Families,

We are so excited to finally have students back in school. On Monday, September 14th we begin a new year with a new format. Our Blue Cohort students will join us with our Gold Students coming the next day Tuesday, September 15. As you know,  a great deal of planning has gone into being able to bring students back for in person learning through our hybrid model. I cannot begin to express my thanks and appreciation for the hard work done by teachers, assistants, office staff, custodians, maintenance, transportation workers, food service and our central office administrators. Many people have worked tirelessly to support us in opening safely.

As always, we start the year full of great enthusiasm and excitement for all of the wonderful things we know our students and teachers will achieve. The start of a new school year is always exciting but can also create some anxiety. With new teachers, new procedures, new learning models, new classmates and bus routes, everyone must adapt to many new situations; especially this year!. We thank you in advance for your patience and ask you to contact us immediately if you have any questions or concerns.

If you have not yet read these documents or looked at these web pages, please look them over and let us know if you have any questions.

Although a little different, we plan for the 2020-2021 school year to be our best yet. We are thrilled and thankful that you are sharing your children with us here at the Conant School. All decisions are always made in the best interest of our students. Our main focus is educating the whole child, academically, socially and emotionally because the whole child really is the whole idea!

Sincerely,
